Among the Soletes Repsol of Lanzarote, whose latest edition has just been presented, the chefs of the Guía Repsol universe in the country have chosen six places that have surprised them for their product, service or personality.
One of them, Charco Vivo, in Arrecife, had already received a solete previously. Of the restaurant located in the Charco de San Ginés, they highlight “their fish or squid sandwiches for breakfast. They are made with the same recipe since its founder Norberto Ginory opened the business in 1960.”
The chefs have also highlighted in Arrecife the quality of the coffee in the Antípoda cafeteria, in the center of the capital, where you can find “great toast and careful attention in the pleasant surroundings of the church of San Ginés. A good place for breakfast.”
In Nazaret, the chef with Sol Repsol Santi Benéitez has highlighted La Cueva de Lagomar for its “impressive location”, as well as for its “designer drinks and good execution of the classics of a lifetime in its cocktail bar.”
The Helathlon ice cream parlor in Puerto del Carmen stands out for its “artisanal preparations of fruits from the island, such as red pitaya. They also stand out for the fig ice cream or the semifreddo cakes,” they explain.
In La Villa de Teguise, two places stand out. On the one hand, the Bodega Santa Bárbara, “ideal for having a little wine or a beer along with its original proposals for snacking. They also have vegan specialties such as hummus or garden flan.”
And on the other hand, also in La Villa, the chefs include the Ikarus Restaurant. Among its specialties, they have highlighted its “camembert and foie millefeuille or the wreckfish in squid sauce.”
