Leo's Burgers, located in Costa Teguise, has won the award for the best burger in the Canary Islands at the Burger Fest Tenerife 2023 held last weekend, April 14, 15 and 16.
The award-winning burger was the house specialty, the "Wisconsin" burger, inspired by American classics. Composed of various ingredients that make it "very particular": 100g of Angus meat smashed in butter with onion, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, "Juanito Baker" bread and the house secret, its sauce.
This has not been their first contest, as they presented last February to the "Best Burger Spain", although on that occasion, they were not lucky enough to win. But they were also well positioned: "we were first in Lanzarote".
Very aware of making Lanzarote products known, so much so that, for some burgers "we use the artisan cheese factory "Montaña de Haría", say Liga and Leo, in charge of the establishment. In addition, it is not the only autochthonous product that makes up some of their creations, also their bread, brought from the bakery "Saona", in Arrecife.

A family restaurant originally from Costa Teguise, where Leo, his parents, his daughter and Liga work. An establishment opened two and a half years ago and that not only offers burgers, but is also recognized for its famous "barbecue ribs". Many wonder what their success is, which he defines with clear words: use "quality ingredients", "innovate and improve" the recipes and all this with a magic formula: "Travel the world and take ideas".
To enjoy its tasty menu, you can go to its location located on Avenida de las Islas Canarias, but they also have the option of home delivery, although only in the town.
