During a good part of 2022 and in the first quarter of 2023, gasoline 95 was cheaper in Lanzarote than in Fuerteventura, after a decade in which gasoline prices had always been lower on the neighboring island.
Since May of this year, gasoline 95 prices have become more expensive in Lanzarote than in Fuerteventura again. Last October, the liter of this fuel cost an average of 1.417 euros on the island and 1.409 in Fuerteventura.
Thus, Lanzarote once again has the most expensive gasoline in the province, since it is always cheaper in Gran Canaria. In October, the liter of gasoline 95 marked an average of 1.316 on the capital island.
Diesel is also more expensive in Lanzarote again than in Fuerteventura. Since March 2023, prices in Lanzarote have been higher than those on the neighboring island. In October, the average in Lanzarote was 1.384 euros per liter, while in Fuerteventura it was 1.372 euros. In Gran Canaria the average price is 1.309 euros.
Only gasoline 98 is still cheaper in Lanzarote (1.521 euros) than in Fuerteventura (1.532 euros), while in Gran Canaria it costs 1.449 euros per liter.
The cheapest 95 gasoline and diesel on the island are found in Playa Blanca
The Marina Rubicón gas station in Playa Blanca currently offers the cheapest prices for refueling gasoline 95 and diesel.
In this establishment in the south of the island, gasoline 95 is sold at 1.288 euros per liter, while the liter of diesel is sold at 1.298 euros.
The cheapest gasoline 98 on the island is found in the Disa de Mácher, on the road that connects Arrecife with Yaiza, where it costs 1.439 euros per liter.
