Inter-island air traffic with Lanzarote already exceeds one million passengers in 2023

Between January and October, flights from Lanzarote to other Canary Islands have transported 11% more passengers compared to last year

Between January and October, more than one million passengers have taken flights between the islands to or from Lanzarote, according to the Lanzarote Data Center based on figures from the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).

Specifically, there have been 1,080,641 travelers, 11% more than were recorded during the same months of 2022.

Most of these flights have been to connect Lanzarote with Gran Canaria, a route that has moved 675,220 passengers until the end of October. The increase of this route compared to last year has been 10.8%.

On flights connecting Lanzarote with Tenerife, 389,089 citizens have traveled, 11% more than in the same period of 2022.

Next, connections with La Palma have facilitated the journeys of 15,365 passengers, which is equivalent to a passenger increase of 34% compared to last year.

In contrast, flights between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura have transported half the passengers that were recorded last year between January and October. So far this year, there have been 967 people.
