Each Spaniard will spend an average of 65 euros on gifts for Father's Day, which is celebrated this Wednesday, March 19, according to a survey by the experience website aladinia.com.

The study reveals that 73% of citizens will give only one gift this year, while 21% will give two and 6% will give three or more.

The budget, of 65 euros, is 30 euros less than what they spent on average on Valentine's Day for their partners, whose average amount amounted to 95 euros.

Regarding the way of buying, once again, Spaniards buy mostly online, just over four out of ten (44%) will do everything through their mobile devices, tablets or computers.

Only 16% will buy in physical stores and 40% of them will choose to combine both forms.

Preparation is still very important for children, since 55% of those surveyed will look for their gifts with a list made previously, comparing prices and looking for offers.

Only 14% said they made the purchase spontaneously and only 7% will buy guided by the recommendations of social networks or influencers, while 15% will be influenced by what friends and family think.

With respect to the types of gifts that our parents will receive, 46% will opt for leisure and experiences, followed by clothing, footwear and accessories (26%). 12% will buy wines and liquors, 11% colognes, 2% books, another 2% technology and another 2% sweets.
