The Fred Olsen company announces a new increase in fees on all its rates, which will have an increase of 2.4% throughout the Canary Islands to adjust to the annual CPI.
In addition, from January 1, the FerryBus service on all lines will be free and its use is exclusive for ferry passengers. Also, all round trip tickets will enjoy a 10% discount compared to one-way fares. To these measures, the new resident discount announced by the Government of the Canary Islands will be added, which will increase from 35% to 45%.
According to the company, "with these new features, very important discounts can be obtained, such as a resident who travels with a round trip ticket, using the FerryBus service from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to La Gomera, or vice versa, will cost €27.64 (€41.80 now) and to Santa Cruz de La Palma or La Estaca in El Hierro, will cost €45.68 (€62.60 now), so what the resident passenger pays in these cases will experience a decrease of 33.88% and 27.03% respectively".
But also, this year Fred. Olsen Express "wants to thank all its customers for the support given to the company during the 32 years it has been operating between the Islands, so throughout the year there will be special and revolutionary offers. The first will be for passengers who plan to travel in February, buying the ticket between January 16 and 31, traveling 3 or 4 passengers, the tourism will be free".
