The Socialist Party of the Canary Islands has held this Wednesday the first round of contacts with other parties in search of governance agreements. After the result of the elections on May 28, in which the PSOE was the winner of the regional elections but without the option of governing alone or re-editing the Pact of the Flowers, the socialists have begun to talk with other parties.
Following the agreement reached by the Extraordinary Executive Commission, proposed by Ángel Víctor Torres and held this Monday, the committee responsible for the socialist campaign has been appointed. Among them, the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote in office, María Dolores Corujo, together with the regional Secretary of Organization, Nira Fierro; the head of strategy of the socialist campaign committee, Sebastián Franquis. All of them are in charge of talking with the different political formations that have also obtained electoral representation, with the exception of Vox, in order to advance in these negotiations.
According to the party, once these conversations are closed, PSOE Canarias will communicate the result of the same to the public.
