The Canary Islands has registered a total of 364 new cases of coronavirus this Friday. In addition, in the last hours six deaths have been reported in the archipelago: a 75-year-old woman in Tenerife and three women and two men in Gran Canaria, aged 93, 84, 75, 88 and 76 years. All had previous pathologies and were admitted to the hospital
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 102,212 with 2,979 active, of which 30 are admitted to the ICU and 196 remain hospitalized. The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 87.41 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 157.26 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 152 cases with a total of 1,242 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 173 more than the previous day and 1,298 active. Lanzarote adds 16 new cases with 135 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 23 new cases and 243 active. La Palma does not add new positives, so it has 46 active. El Hierro does not add new positives either, so it has one active. La Gomera does not register new cases and its assets are 14.
Until this Friday, a total of 2,379,479 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,927 correspond to Thursday.
