The Pevolca management has ordered this Wednesday night the evacuation of more areas after the advance of the lava flow that runs further northwest of the island of La Palma and its proximity to the boundary area of the already evacuated perimeter.

Specifically, the area south of Camino de La Cruz Chica at the intersection with Camino Los Campitos, following Camino Morro Cabrito to reach the LP 2 road, has been evacuated.

From 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., those affected by this evacuation order must leave their homes, with their belongings and domestic animals, and go to the meeting point located in the Campo de Lucha Camino León de los Llanos de Aridane.

In this sense, the Pevolca has indicated that people who cannot collect belongings "will be allowed in later days, gradually and accompanied, whenever security conditions allow it".
