The Canary Islands has registered 182 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total of accumulated cases in the islands already rises to 50,453 with 4,477 active, of which 84 are admitted to the ICU and 307 remain hospitalized, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government.
Likewise, in the last hours the death of 3 people due to COVID-19 has been reported, all in Tenerife, so the total number of deaths is already 708, of which 392 have been in Tenerife; 244 in Gran Canaria; 48 in Lanzarote; 13 in Fuerteventura; 6 in La Palma; 4 in El Hierro, and 1 in La Gomera.
The Accumulated Incidence (IA) at 7 days is located in the Canary Islands in the 67.28 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is in the 136.68 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Until this moment a total of 1,011,719 PCR tests have been carried out in the islands, of which 3,543 correspond to the last 24 hours.
By islands, Tenerife adds 86 new infections with a total of 21,466 accumulated cases and 2,427 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 20,928 accumulated cases, 79 more than the previous day, and 1,700 active; Lanzarote adds 12 new cases with 4,813 accumulated and 128 epidemiologically active, and Fuerteventura has 2,195 accumulated cases with 3 more than the previous day and 180 active.
La Palma does not add new cases and has 498 accumulated and 14 active cases; El Hierro adds 2 cases, so its accumulated rises to 325 and has 25 active cases. La Gomera does not add new cases either, so its accumulated remains at 227 and 2 active
