The Canary Islands has added 29 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the last day, leaving a total accumulated of 1,887. In addition, this Friday there has also been a new death, raising the number of deaths to 95 since the beginning of this crisis.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours the number of patients who have already overcome the disease has also increased, rising to 432, with 45 new discharges being recorded. Thus, almost 23% of the people who have tested positive in the archipelago are already cured.
By islands, Tenerife continues to accumulate the highest number of cases by a wide margin, reaching 1,161. It is followed by Gran Canaria with 449, La Palma with 80, Lanzarote with 74, Fuerteventura with 41, La Gomera with 9 and El Hierro with 4.
