The airline Binter has reported this Monday that "it has been forced to temporarily paralyze operations with the La Palma airport again" after attempting to make a first flight during this day and verifying that "the necessary conditions are not met to guarantee safety if connections are resumed."

Thus, after announcing on Monday morning that it would resume activity from 1:00 p.m., after 3:00 p.m. it reported that it was paralyzing operations again. In any case, it has indicated that it will try to resume operations again this Tuesday if Aena, the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) and the rest of the authorities confirm that favorable conditions exist, as reported by Binter in a statement.

The company is attending through the usual channels the requests for changes or refunds that may be received from affected passengers on these flights, while stating that it is following "at all times" the evolution of the situation in contact with the aeronautical authorities.

Finally, it has indicated that the "exceptional and unprecedented" situation that is being experienced means that Binter will report any news or changes that may occur through its usual channels.

The company recommends that before flying the updated flight situation be consulted in the official Binter media.
