Binter has decided to cancel its night flights with the island of La Palma from this Friday, due to the evolution of the ash cloud from the volcano. "The airline has been forced to make this decision due to force majeure, adapting the operation to the changing weather situation, ensuring that it is carried out guaranteeing safety," the company said in a statement.
Regarding the rest of the flight schedule in the archipelago, it indicates that "for the moment" it continues to develop normally.
On the other hand, the company reminds that it is "attending through the usual channels the requests for changes or refunds that may be received from the affected passengers on these flights."
"The airline is constantly evaluating the evolution of the situation in contact with the aeronautical authorities, waiting to have confirmation that all security conditions are met to resume ordinary operations", he adds, noting that "due to the exceptional and unprecedented situation that is being experienced, Binter will be informing of any news or changes that may occur, through its usual channels."
