A reader has contacted La Voz to make public what she considers "a new attack on our island" in the municipality of Teguise.
According to her, "last week, while a group of friends were going to enjoy an afternoon in the Las Piletas Ravine, we came across a new attack on our island. "Someone, who barely showed their head, had devastated a significant amount of rustic land in Conejero, a scar in the shape of a circle that broke the harmony of the ravine, destroyed its aesthetics, and filled its channel."
"All a product of having flattened it to make an esplanade in which a circle of stone had been made, there were pallets everywhere, a bathtub camouflaged among the vegetation, and a large water tank as a bag to supply those who live there or, who knows, what they do," the citizen laments.
Finally, she states that "the scars on our island are indelible, and the contempt for our land is too. I will not stop denouncing these attacks on our island. Canaria has a limit, and so does my patience. Ahul"
