The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium intervened on Friday morning, November 28, on San Rafael street in Arrecife, after receiving a call from CECOES about a person asking for help from inside their home.
According to the Consortium itself, a fire crew was dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival, agents from the Arrecife Local Police and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) were already present in the area.
Firefighters proceeded to open the home's entrance using non-destructive techniques to gain access to the interior. After opening it, paramedics attended to the affected woman and, after stabilizing her, transferred her to Molina Orosa Hospital.
