A reader has contacted La Voz to report the dirt in the various pipes of Arrecife that discharge the water from the recent rains from the neighborhoods of Argana Baja and Alta in the area of Punta del Camello.

As can be seen in the images, in the canals of the tidal pool next to the Marqués de Herrera Barracks there are residues that the water drags into the pipes, in addition to the sand and earth that has accumulated over time. "This area is full of diapers and all kinds of objects that have been coming out of the sewers," says the reader.

Likewise, this water ends up flowing into the coast of Arrecife, in Punta del Camello, where it can be seen that the color of the water has turned brown.

The reader criticizes that "they have diverted the water from the sewers in the hospital area through this canal, a disgrace and a crime against the environment." "As of today, no worker is seen cleaning the canal of the tidal pools and surroundings," he continues.
