A reader has contacted La Voz to report that Crucero street, next to the Pueblo Marinero of Costa Teguise, has been closed for months due to construction but "there is no one working on them". These works have been carried out for a channeling of the new Las Cucharas shopping center.

"They made the ditch and channeled the pipe, but now it seems that there is no one working and the neighbors are fed up with the dirt and the lack of communication that this work is causing in a tourist area that also disables a large parking lot and causes the parking area at the exit of this street to become saturated," the neighbor criticizes.

Likewise, he assures that "for weeks now there is no one working and the street is closed, preventing the transfer of elderly people and people with reduced mobility. In addition, there is fear of how it will finally look, probably patched and not repaved."
