The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa is organizing a comprehensive informative conference aimed at training and employment professionals, as well as counselors and companies, with the aim of presenting in detail all the new features of the new Integrated Vocational Training System.
This workshop is part of the FP PYME Program promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, with the collaboration of CaixaBank Dualiza, an initiative that seeks to strengthen the connection between vocational training and the local business network, facilitating employability and talent training on the island.
A transformation that brings training closer to the labor market
Since the approval of the new Vocational Training Law in 2022, the vocational education system in Spain has been undergoing a profound transformation. This change seeks to make training more useful and adapted to the real needs of the labor market, benefiting both those seeking to successfully enter employment and companies that want to have better qualified professionals.
One of the most significant advances is the implementation of the Dual modality, in which training is carried out jointly between educational centers and companies. This new approach promotes a greater connection between the educational and productive worlds, improving employability and the suitability of professional profiles to the real demands of the business sector.
A day to learn about the new opportunities of the system
The new model also incorporates important innovations, such as vocational training with a training contract, which will soon arrive on the island; the new training itineraries (grades A and B, certificates, cycles and specialization courses); and improvements in professional guidance services.
With this conference, the Chamber invites all agents of the training and employment ecosystem to participate in a meeting that will allow them to learn in depth about the tools offered by the new system: from the internal training of workers, to the organization of micro-training courses for people with greater difficulties in entering the labor market.
The session will last two and a half hours and will conclude with a networking coffee break, designed to share experiences, answer questions, and foster collaboration among the various participants. Registration is free via this link.
