The Unión Sur Yaiza Grupo Rosa wrestling club will be presented to its fans at the José Parrilla tournament. This championship will not be the typical triangular as only two fights will be held during the 23rd and 24th of this month of September. These two fights will be held in the Uga warehouse starting at 9:00 p.m.
The first fight will be between Unión Sur Yaiza Grupo Rosa, the organizing team of the tournament, and Tao Cicar, and the second between Unión Sur Yaiza Grupo Rosa and Tetir from the island of Fuerteventura.
The southerners have all their wrestlers signed for this season for these fights, their island "A" point José Antonio Santana, as well as the island "B" Rafael Rodríguez, and the island "C" Ángelo López, together with the unclassified wrestlers Juan Manuel López, Francisco García "Curri", Alexis Caraballo, Oliver Umpierrez and Carlos Bravo.
For its part, Tao Cicar will have its island "A" point Jorge Quintero, the island "B" Óscar González, and the island "C" Patrick Cazorla and the unclassified wrestlers David Martín, José Barrios and Miguel Ángel Betancort, Juan José Guillen and Juan José Reguera. Finally, for Tetir de Fuerteventura will be their most outstanding wrestlers Juan Carlos Matoso, David Matoso, Carmelo Cerdeña and José Juan Padrón. In addition, this team will be reinforced with some majorero wrestler, with Mario Franquiz having the most possibilities.
Unión Norte Orvecame will be presented on Wednesday in Punta Mujeres
On the other hand, Unión Norte Orvecame will make its official presentation to the media and its fans next Wednesday, the 7th of this month of September, starting at 7:15 p.m. at the teleclub in the town of Punta Mujeres, in the municipality of Haría. The president of this team, Vicente Hernández, has Jesús Manuel Figueroa "Figueroa II" as coach for another year. The coach will have the following wrestlers: as an island "A" point will be the majorero Juan Carlos Marichal, as an island "B" Pepe Martel continues for another year. The same occurs with the island "C", which is Agustín Mayor, while his unclassified wrestlers will be Goyo Hernández, Roberto Quintero, Darío Betancort, Roberto de León, José Martín, Juan Luis Norega, David Romero, David Bonilla and the youth Óscar Betancort, Juan Antonio Ramírez, Raúl Cedres and Luis Socaz.
That same day, but starting at 8:15 p.m., Unión Norte Orvecame will play its first friendly match against San Bartolomé Construcciones Acosta. The match is played in a wrestling arena in the town of Punta Mujeres, where the Pino festivities are being held.
Arbitration fees will be between 16 and 145 euros
Last weekend, the meeting of the Governing Board of the Regional Federation of Canarian Wrestling agreed to increase arbitration fees according to the CPI, that is, by 3.3 percent. Thus, the amounts for official or friendly fights are, for the First Category, 112 euros for an referee and 145 for the trio; in Second 89 euros an referee and 112 the trio; in Third 74 euros an referee and 98 euros the trio; women 41 euros and 67 the three; in youth 29 euros the referee and 42 a trio; in the cadet and children's category 16 euros an referee and 28 the trio.
As for institutional fights, the referee trio for the Canary Islands Day fight or senior selections will cost 145 euros; women's selections 67 euros; youth 42; cadets and children 28 euros the trio. In the Pancho Camurria and Alfredo Martín el Palmero tournaments, the referee will charge 41 euros and the trio 67.
In the individual senior category championships, the three main referees will charge 324 euros, in women 123, in youth 87 and in cadets and children 48.
A travel allowance of 93 euros is set for each referee. The Canarian Wrestling Federation, in the case of institutional fights, will cover the costs of transport, accommodation and maintenance. Whoever requests a non-local referee must pay the travel allowance and assume the costs for maritime or air transfer.
In total there are 64 referees in the Regional Committee, of which 25 are classified as A, 11 as B, 22 are C and 6 as D.
22 are the referees from the island of Tenerife, 8 of category A, 4 of B, 8 in C and 2 in D. As for the nine referees from La Palma, 5 form the group of A, 3 in C and 1 D. Of the three referees from El Hierro, one will be A and two C. For its part, Gran Canaria remains with 19 referees, of which 9 are A, 2 B, 7 C and 1 D. Meanwhile, Fuerteventura has 5 registered referees, 1 is B, 2 are C and another 2 belong to division D. Finally, on the island of Lanzarote, which has 6 referees, 3 will be A and another 3 will be attached to category B.
