UD Lanzarote returns to the path of victories, winning 2-0 against UD Las Zocas, with the latter not going through their best moment of the season. Despite not being a good match, the Rojillos took the lead with an own goal by Noel in the first half. In the second period, Borja Vera sealed the victory, and Las Zocas was at the mercy of UD Lanzarote in the final stretch of the match.

The first half was not good for either team, with few approaches to the opposing areas and most of the game taking place in the midfield. The fight was intense in the midfield line, with UD Las Zocas managing to impose their law and preventing UD Lanzarote from feeling comfortable on the field.

The first warning was given by UD Las Zocas in the 2nd minute. Héctor broke through on the left wing, passed to Ibrahim who cut inside the area, and his shot was cleared by goalkeeper Agoney. UD Lanzarote struggled to take control of the game, staging some isolated actions and failing to complete the attacking plays.
The minutes passed without anything to highlight, making the spectacle offered by the two teams boring. UD Lanzarote took the lead in the 39th minute after an unfortunate play for the Zoquera defense. Goalkeeper David cleared a ball crossed from the right wing, the ball hit defender Noel's back and ended up in the back of the net.

The first half concluded with a 1-0 lead for UD Lanzarote. The Rojillos went to the locker room with a minimal advantage, despite not having shot between the three posts in the first 45 minutes of the match.

The second half began with a clear chance for the locals. Javi Melián received the ball inside the area, the first shot from the striker was repelled by goalkeeper David, and Javi Melián sent the rebound to the base of the post. The UD Lanzarote striker lamented the missed double chance.

UD Lanzarote had more depth in this second half, approaching the vicinity of Las Zocas' area very clearly. The Tenerife team had problems getting out with the ball under control and rarely stood in the area defended by Agoney.

Around the half-hour mark of the second half, the second goal for UD Lanzarote arrived. The attacking play was started by Krispy, who recovered a ball in the center of the field, passed to Quintero who put it first-time for Borja Vera's breakthrough on the right wing, and he sent the ball into the back of the net with a crossed shot.

The goal caused UD Las Zocas to lower their arms and be at the mercy of the locals. UD Lanzarote could have increased the differences in the 89th minute. Counterattack by Borja Vera on the left, he puts it for the arrival of Quintero, and after dribbling the goalkeeper, the shot went to the side of the net.

UD Lanzarote adds the fourth victory of the season, climbing some positions in the standings and being three points behind the fourth-placed team. In the next matchday, UD Lanzarote travels to Tenerife to face CD Santa Úrsula, a match that will be played on Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Argelio Tabares.
