The Lite Quest 3x3 Lanzarote FIBA, endorsed by FIBA, seemed like the best basketball tournament that Lanzarote had enjoyed so far and, finally, it has not disappointed. For three days the magic of basketball, seasoned with the best music by Dr. Mad, filled the Plaza de las Naciones in Puerto del Carmen with people enthusiastic about the show.

The under 15 competition left Las Falcons (Marina Melián, Kiara González, Paula Lahora and Silvia Muñoz) as champions in the women's category and Las Chinijas (Inés, Daniela, Martina and Sol) as runners-up. In the men's category, Los Chinchulines (Aythami Fuentes, Manuel Rodríguez, Alejandro De león and David Fuentes) won, with Los Ballers (Siyán Zhou, Julio Cazzi, Miguel Cai and Tavio Agüero) achieving second position.

After the youngest, it was the turn for the pros. In the final, Valencia Basket 3x3 faced Electromercantil 3x3, with the Valencians taking the victory. The runners-up, a team made up of Guillermo Ruiz, Sebastián, Juan Carlos Vilches and Mario Álvarez, won a prize of 400 euros.

The winners, Valencia Basket 3x3, a team made up of Juanma M., Alfonso Ribera, Javier Herrero and Javi Valderrey, won a prize of 600 euros and a pass to the Challenger tournament in Split, Croatia. The director of the tournament, Marius Gal, thanked "the support of the Department of Sports of the Tías City Council, as well as the participation of all the players, from the lower categories to the professional players from Lanzarote, from other areas of Spain and even from abroad, as has been a team that has come from Ireland."

"Thanks to all of them. I also want to thank the work of the referees and the entire team that has allowed a FIBA tournament not only to reach the island but we have shown that Lanzarote can and should have a tournament of this category, demonstrating, once again, the love that the island feels for basketball."

"Now all that remains is to rest and start preparing for next year's championship because Lanzarote deserves it. We'll see you there."
