The Titerroy Municipal Pavilion showcased its best attire on Saturday afternoon, with many fans coming to experience the first derby of the season between San José Obrero and Puerto del Carmen. The match did not disappoint, with maximum intensity in the game of both teams, with San José Obrero taking the victory by being more forceful in defense than their rival. David Betancort's players nullified the opponent's attack, with a defense without fissures during many phases of the match.
The equality was maximum in the first minutes of the match, with the attacks of both teams being too hasty. Adina Guidoarca put the first goal on the scoreboard for San José Obrero, and Keyla Hernández and Rosa Álvarez responded to put Puerto del Carmen ahead. Both teams played with a 6:0 defense, although the Tiñoseras with a more open system to try to steal in the circulation.

A loss that made the Tiñoseras lose power, but they never threw in the towel. They managed to reduce the difference to two goals, with Adina Guidoarca putting the sentence by scoring a goal after a good circulation of the entire attack.
With the score of 28 to 26, the match came to an end, with CB San José Obrero taking the victory in the first Lanzarote derby of the season in the Women's Silver Division of Handball. With this result, San José Obrero is placed in fourth position with 6 points, the same as CB Lanzarote Zonzamas, BM Porriño and Rodríguez Cleba. For its part, CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen drops to seventh position with 4 points.
