Last Saturday, Magec Tías faced the third-ranked team in the Women's League 2, Clarinos Ciudad de Los Adelantados, at the Tías Pavilion, without their power forward Ornella Santana due to discomfort in her arm.

The match did not start well for the locals. The inside game of the Tenerife team, led first by Caira Washington and then by Yanique Gordon, wreaked havoc on the Lanzarote defense, which could not stop them. Aday Villalba called a timeout and managed to get his team back into the game, finishing the quarter with a score of 12 to 16 for the visitors.

The situation did not improve in the second quarter, and the Tenerife team managed to extend the differences on the scoreboard. The locals' attempts to react were in vain, although they improved inside the paint as the minutes passed. The injury of Raby Oliveira in the last minutes of the second quarter was a major setback for Magec Tías, who went to halftime with the score against them by 23 to 30.

The difference on the scoreboard widened at the beginning of the second half, but from there, the best Magec Tías resurfaced with a 10-0 run, culminating the comeback with a basket from Sara Duarte and taking the lead for the first time in the entire match. The equality was constant from that moment on, with continuous alternatives and with an effective and electric game from both teams. At the end of the third quarter, the score was 48 to 50 for the Laguneras.

In the last quarter, the locals continued to work and fight against a team that was surprised by the local push. Despite their efforts, Magec could not defeat Clarinos, and time began to work against them.

Sara Duarte's personal fouls limited her participation, which represented an excessive limitation combined with the absences of Raby Oliveira and Ornella Santana.

Despite the last desperate attempts of Aday Villalba's players, the Tenerife team took the victory by 67 to 72, which qualified them directly to play the promotion phase to LF1.

It will not be until after Easter when the Tías team returns to the court again, in this case to visit Alcobendas, in what will be the last match as visitors in a season that is coming to an end with the goal of permanence fulfilled.
