The mayors of Yaiza and Tías, José Francisco Reyes, and José Juan Cruz Saavedra, will attend today, Thursday, July 14, the inauguration of the first Handball Coaches Clinic organized by the Sports Councils of both municipalities in the south of the island of Lanzarote.
Between the 14th and 16th of this month of July, the technical and practical classes will be held at the Hotel Princesa Yaiza (Playa Blanca, Yaiza) and the Tías sports hall for 30 outstanding handball players and coaches from all over the country. The technical direction of this I Handball Clinic will be supervised by the well-known Valero Rivera.
The official inauguration and presentation of this clinic, which will also be attended by the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Inés Roja, and the president of the Canary Islands Handball Federation, will be today, Thursday the 14th, at 7:00 p.m. in the halls of the Hotel Princesa Yaiza, in Playa Blanca.
Around 40 people from Portugal, Madrid, Málaga, Cádiz, Ciudad Real, Logroño, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote are attending this I Clinic, which has among its monitors and speakers the elite of handball in Spain.
