After last year's absence due to the pandemic, the Arrecife City Triathlon – Real Club Náutico de Arrecife was once again a reality with the celebration of the 27th edition. 272 athletes in the main event and 71 minors in aquathlon, gave color to the sports day.
Jorge Wilkes (Bayliss Multisport) with a time of 01:04:26 was proclaimed winner of the men's general and Raquel Arostegui (CT Diablos de Rivas) with 01:10:33 won among the women. The men's podium was completed by Saúl Escarabajal (Tridente Triatlón Tinajo) 01:04:38 and Andrés Eduardo Díaz (Fasttriatlón) 01:04:49. In women, the winner was escorted by the athletes of Club Natación Reales Zaira Lorenzo 01:11:42 and Dacil Fernández 01:13:51.

At the end of the event, the awards ceremony was held, presided over by Julio Romero, president of the RCNA, together with the Sports representatives of the Cabildo Francisco Aparicio and Roy González of the Arrecife City Council, as well as Adrián Sánchez of the Canary Islands Triathlon Federation. They were accompanied by the vice president of the Cabildo Marcos Bergaz and the councilors of Arrecife Roberto Herbon and Cristina Duque.

The RCNA offered the participants a lunch to regain strength after the event.
