Important victory for FC Puerto del Carmen against CD Llamoro on Tenerife soil by 2 to 3, which allows the Lanzarote team to break a streak of bad results and return to the path of victory, moving a little further away from the relegation places.
The players trained by Jack Talbot took to the field with the firm conviction of achieving the three points in dispute, taking advantage of the speed of the offensive players of the Tiñosero team, who managed to print a fast pace in attack with plays down the wing and shots that, in many cases, found their way into the goal.
Thus, in the 25th minute, Kiara scored the first, five minutes later Nieves scored and before the break Eva scored, demonstrating that with the arrival of the goal, not only did confidence appear in themselves, but it grew throughout the first half, resulting in great work in all lines.
With 0 to 3, the two teams appeared in the second half, but a misfortune in the first play of Llamoro ended up inside the goal defended by Puerto del Carmen and with that goal all the confidence that the visiting players had gained during the first half was gone. Shortly after came a second goal, which accentuated the Tiñosero problems, who tried to put their stamp on the game with some of the opportunities they had, but, as throughout the season, there was no success in front of goal.
The match could have been resolved with 5 minutes remaining, when Kiara made one of the most beautiful plays of the season, managing to get past several players with the ball under control, and even the goalkeeper Daniela, but she was unable to define into an empty net and had to suffer until the end.
A very entertaining match where the Lanzarote team were generally superior to their rival, despite the problems they had in the second half, and where the best thing is the three points that come for the FC Puerto del Carmen locker, which helps the team start looking up instead of looking down.
Next week they will travel again, in this case to the island of La Palma, to visit CD Tarsa, recovering the match that was postponed in its day and, a week later, the Palmeras will visit the Municipal de Puerto del Carmen.
