FC Puerto del Carmen received the second-placed team, Atlético Unión Güímar, at the Manuel Arrocha García Municipal Field, eager to make up for the draw the previous week against the bottom team, where the Lanzarote team was not sharp in front of goal.

In the first minute of the match, Janet already warned the Tenerife goalkeeper of her team's intentions, with a cross shot that did not find the visiting team's goal. Seconds later, it was Kiara who had a one-on-one with Nati, with the rival goalkeeper winning the duel, and not even three minutes had passed when a cross from the right by Janet was finished off by Alicia, but without finding the net.

FC Puerto del Carmen had managed to bottle up the visitors in their area and lift the spirits of a public that was increasing in number as the match progressed. Little by little, Isaac González's team shook off the dominance, having their first chance in the first quarter of an hour, with a counter-attack by Elsa that ended up sending the ball over Naza's goal. The same fate befell a shot on the half-turn by Ainara seconds later.

Control seemed to be in the boots of the Tenerife club now, while Jack Talbot's players did not give up on playing the ball, but the quality of the visitors made everything difficult, with some steals in the middle of the field that they could not take advantage of either.

Half an hour into the game, the local team was approaching dangerously again. Kiara joins on the left wing and, after getting past two players, passes the ball to Alicia, who joins in the middle, shooting high the number six of the Lanzarote team. The visitors' response was not long in coming with a shot from Miriam from outside the area, finding the response of Naza, who launched herself very agilely to get the ball out and avoid the Tenerife goal.

The Unión Güímar players did not want to go to the break without opening the scoring and tried with a header from Elsa to a half-exit from Naza, but it went wide and even with a counter by Ainara on the right that Naza covered and stopped in two stages. The local team also did not want to leave empty-handed and had the last two of the first half.

First, Alicia gave a pass to Nieves inside the area that Nati saved in the shot of the local striker, the defense rejecting Kiara's subsequent shot in the same play. Seconds later, in the exit of a corner kicked by Janet, Arima hit in volley from outside the area, stamping the ball on the visitor's crossbar.

With the nil-nil and multiple chances for both teams, the players went to the locker room, thinking of a second half where the goals would finally arrive. First it was that of the visiting players, who in the first occasion since the restart managed to beat Naza, with a cross shot from Lara from the left. And then that of the local players, who a few minutes after the 0 to 1 put the tie on the scoreboard.

Miriam commits a foul on the edge of the area that costs her the direct red card before the entry of a local player. The foul is launched in a masterful way by Janet, placing the ball glued to the right post of Nati, who despite the stretch could not avoid the goal.

With one less player the visiting team, the locals tried to have more of the ball in the middle and give more patience to their game. They were getting it, but they could not be distracted,
because at any moment the Tenerife team could put them in trouble. This happened first with a shot from Ainara that was again stopped with a masterful save by the goalkeeper Naza and
later a shot from Elsa after a cross from the right that the local goalkeeper covered, with her face.

The rotations on the local bench and the absence of changes in the visitors, as well as the Tiñosero public, was carrying their team in volandas, which locked in the
last ten minutes to his rival. Victoria, who had entered seconds before, could not culminate a counterattack of her team by not finding the goal her shot. Then it was Eira, with a strong and dry shot from the front of the area, which Nati stopped. Later, a counterattack that Kiara failed to define and, shortly after, a shot from the same player at the exit of a corner, which the rival goalkeeper stopped.

With the draw at one, and the rival with another expelled for double yellow, the match concluded, with the same result as last weekend and with many chances created, but with very different rivals and sensations. Next week the Tiñosero team visits Real Unión de Tenerife B at the Campo de La Salud in search of a victory that will allow them to get rid of this taste in their mouth.
