The second round of the competition in Group A of the Women's Silver Division of Honor began, with CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife visiting AD Carballal and needing to win to keep pace with the top teams. The San José Obrero players played a serious game in all their lines, dominating the scoreboard to beat the Galicians by a clear 23 to 32.
From the start of the match, CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife took control of the match, with Bruna Gonçalvez and Gema Trujillo being in charge of scoring the first two goals for the visitors (0-2). As the minutes passed, they extended the differences on the scoreboard, achieving a partial score of 1 to 6, which forced the local coach to ask for the first timeout (3-8).
It did not seem that AD Carballal could get closer on the scoreboard, despite this, CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife did not take their foot off the accelerator. San José Obrero perfectly managed the advantage they had obtained, to add the two points that were at stake. With the score of 23 to 32, the match came to an end, with CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife rediscovering victory and finishing the year in fourth position in the standings.
