Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero added an important victory on Saturday afternoon against Maristas Málaga, which allows them to maintain their chances of fighting for the promotion phase in the National First Division of Men's Handball. The Lanzarote team overcame adversity, not noticing the significant absences in their squad and overcoming a combative rival. Rubén Caraballo, a player who was reappearing after several days of absence, was in charge of taking the reins of his team's attack and scoring when they needed it most.

The first minutes were marked by equality. The two teams studied each other on the playing field, trying to overcome the fierce defenses that did not allow the attacks to have prominence in these first minutes. Two goals from Maristas Málaga put fear into the fans who gathered at the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion.

With the score of 29-28, the match came to an end, with Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero adding a hard-fought victory that keeps them in the upper area of the standings. The Lanzarote team will have to wait for Urci Almería and BM Aguilar, rivals who play their matches this day on Sunday morning, to find out how they are in the standings after the dispute of the nineteenth day of the National First Division of Men's Handball.
