Again we have been able to verify, with the closing of the Stratvs Winery Restaurant, that in the island of Lanzarote there is an attack against any establishment that has triumph and high quality as a motto to follow. I don't know if it is becoming a habit, but the truth is that it is another nonsense against those who fight to position the island as a leading holiday destination worldwide.
Bodega Stratvs is an impressive, unique place, with a highly trained professional team, exquisite decoration in its facilities, a gourmet shop unparalleled in the Canary Islands, technology to produce its wines without comparison, wine and cheese tasting from the Finca de Uga as a culmination to each visit, a place visited and praised by all. I sincerely think that facilities of such high quality as Stratvs represent an unprecedented plus for the Lanzarote brand, and therefore it should be provided with ways to remedy administrative deficiencies if there are any faults in terms of licenses or documentation to register the establishments, as has happened with the Stratvs Restaurant, the main thing always being the good of the island, its international promotion for its excellence, modernity and exclusivity, the support for entrepreneurs who invest in this land and mainly, so many jobs on which so many families in Lanzarote depend, an island that we know is so overwhelmed by the national crisis and the high unemployment rate.
Being able to take less aggressive, less drastic measures, it is totally surreal that there is an attack against logic and that a trajectory full of awards for its great management and excellent work is prevented from being brought to fruition.
Let us reflect and try to move our island forward with the effort of all, in unity, in cooperation and constant support.
