They say that everyone should take advantage of the opportunities that life offers them, the Spanish proverb also has a place to remind us when necessary that "troubled waters, gain of fishermen", well, the great moment for pessimists has arrived, we live in the perfect era for those who cannot keep quiet that "we are doing badly", when we all know it. Now they have plenty of arguments, those who "push" their heads, to say that "everything is a disaster" and that "we are going down the drain", those same people who, when you give them reasons for encouragement, disguise themselves as realists and drop devastating phrases like: "What world do you live in?" or perhaps a better one: "I don't know how you laugh with what's going on". Be very careful with them, they are everywhere, they are the same ones who, when everything was going well, only wanted it to be even better, a pessimistic attitude, is usually accompanied by a nonconformist one, sometimes ambitious, because you are never happy with anything.
Now, that lean times are coming (the cows too, because there is no good pasture either) all the words we hear are negative, "I hate the Government", "I am outraged", "Everything is going wrong", and perhaps it is the moment that, personally, I also have more reasons to join this widespread discouragement, simply because we are discovering the cake, because when we have eaten the layer of chocolate, we have realized that the cake was rotten, and although before we also glimpsed that there was mold underneath, we ate without worrying about anything. However, we must realize that it is not good that "suddenly" we get the blues.
I remember when my friends tickled me at school, or in the neighborhood, I remember that what gave them the most satisfaction was that I got angry and vice versa, the funniest thing about the prank was seeing the affected person with a frown, well now something similar happens, but on a large scale. I have the feeling that from above, they are seeing us angry, and they laugh like naughty children. I think it is not the time to give them that satisfaction and now, smile more than ever, and tell the pessimists to raise their eyes and look at the world, only in that instant, perhaps they will understand that maybe we are not so unfortunate. Yes, we are bad, but for the other three parts of the world it would be a luxury to have the possibility of asking a neighbor for a box of milk, or having a relative who would invite them to eat, only if we think globally, pessimism ceases to make sense.
And with that global thinking, we must continue to offer optimism, come what may, let us be the naughty ones too, let us avoid the difficulties, let us use our imagination, let us tell those who have led us to this situation (let us also assume our share of the blame), that we are going to try to be fair with them, and that if they have done things wrong, we are now going to unite under a smile to tell them that if it is true that things look bad, but we still have makeup left.
From "our luxuries" we cannot be pessimistic, global relativity makes us privileged, even if we don't think so now. And tell everyone who tells you: "You can't live like this", tell them that they have wasted 4 valuable seconds to change that situation they are talking about, let's not let the pessimists put us in a loop where there seems to be no way out, we are simply living a moment that is less good than before, but I assure you (and you only need to look up for a second) that it could be much worse. Smile.
