The Yaiza Town Council is putting out to tender two new intervention projects within the municipal program of modernization and implementation of children's play areas that it is developing in different southern towns.

The Institution presided over by Óscar Noda is tendering the improvement and conditioning of the children's park located next to the Marcastell urbanisation for 276,000 euros and the updating of the park located in Faro Pechiguera for 138,000 euros, a total of 414,000 euros, with both projects including the provision of shade areas.

Óscar Noda emphasizes "the municipality's investment commitment and its dedication to accessible and inclusive leisure facilities." Yaiza will install a combination of thematic play structures, swings, a rotating game, and a trampoline in Marcastell, among other equipment, in addition to improving the shock-absorbing pavement.

Faro Park will undergo replacement of street furniture, as well as the installation of shade areas. Next to this park, the City Council built a sports court. Companies interested in submitting bids can consult all the technical and administrative information in the contractor profile on the City Council website.

The Councillor for Parks, Rubén Arca, reports that "with these two tenders for Playa Blanca, we are moving forward in our objective of offering citizens comfortable and safe recreational areas, such as the one we are currently installing in the upper part of the town of Yaiza, known as El Rincón, and other initiatives already carried out in Uga or Las Breñas."
