The Yaiza City Council is bidding for the construction of a multi-sports court in the town of Femés. The project has a base budget of 230,000 euros from municipal accounts. In addition, its execution also foresees the integration of this sports space into the "inclusive and accessible" children's park of Femés Atrás that the Institution has just awarded for 393,000 euros, in this case, co-financing the action with funds from the Cooperation Plan of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
The council has published the technical and administrative specifications of the open tender for the construction of this track on its electronic site. Óscar Noda, mayor of Yaiza, reports that companies interested in building the new Femés court have until Monday, May 29 to submit their offers. The equipment planned in this project are two multi-sport fronts that incorporate a goal of three by two meters and a basket of 3.05 meters high.
The technical conditions specify that it is a modern sports facility with perimeter fencing, quality, safe and low maintenance for the population of the nucleus of Femés. The project takes into consideration the existence of the Mararía school and the need to generate a safe pedestrian access from it to the sports space.
