The municipality of Tías has been transformed in recent years into an energy-efficient municipality with different projects to replace luminaires with low-consumption LED technologies. The Department of Environment, led by Carmen Gloria Rodríguez, aims to approach the mitigation and adaptation objectives established in the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy with an executed investment exceeding 2.7 million euros, financed by different administrations.
