The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, has signed this Monday the modification of the conditioning project of the sports center of the urban area of San Marcial del Rubicón, in the town of Playa Blanca. With it, the resumption of the works awarded to the company Transportes y Excavaciones Tiagua S is allowed, which now has a term of 75 days to complete this infrastructure of 483,000 euros of public investment.
"Our objective is to deliver the sports facilities as soon as possible and thus complete the urban intervention that we have executed in this urban area of Playa Blanca, where we previously undertook the complete paving of its streets, carried out accessibility works and put at the service of citizens a newly implemented inclusive playground”, says the mayor of Yaiza.
In any case, the mayor asks for "apologies for the inconvenience caused by the delay of the works", but he trusts that the neighbors "will soon enjoy the multifunctional court for soccer and basketball, bleachers, calisthenics machines and all the equipment for leisure and recreation planned in said location”.
