The Tourist Centers have presented three electric vehicles recently acquired through a public tender charged to the FDCAN.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and of the Board of Directors of the Tourist Centers, María Dolores Corujo, has indicated that this initiative is oriented to "continue taking steps" in the transition towards a more responsible energy model.

These new vehicles, "are one more example of how we want mobility to be in Lanzarote" and represent "a new success" for an entity and an island that want to remain "at the forefront" in the fight for a greener and more sustainable future for the planet, Corujo added.

 

They will replace vans with 25 and 30 years of age

In the same line, the CEO of the Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, has highlighted that this action also allows "modernizing" the fleet and "continue adding assets" in the strategy for a more sustainable and energy-efficient mobility from the energy point of view.

In this sense, he recalled that the resource currently has 23 electric cars or powered by renewable energies and is waiting to receive a new order.

For its part, the new vehicles acquired by the are three Fiat E-Ducato closed vans, with a payload of 1,885 kilos and a load volume of 11.5 cubic meters, which have a range of almost 200 kilometers, and which will replace others with 25 and 30 years of age.

These three transports have been acquired through a supply contract charged to a item from the FDCAN worth 173,700 euros.
