The spokesperson for the Socialist parliamentary group (PSC-PSOE), Francisco Hernández Spínola, announced that the PSOE will appear as a popular accusation in the judicial case opened for alleged irregularities in the wind farm tender called by the regional government.
Spínola also expressed his group's concern that the investigation commission to be created in the Regional Chamber on the wind farm tender will end in "a pact of silence" between the previous government partners, Coalición Canaria (CC) and Partido Popular (PP).
The socialist spokesperson also urged all institutions and organizations that fight against corruption to appear in this judicial case and stated that the Canary Islands is experiencing an "unbreathable political climate, with a succession of scandals and numerous requests for investigation commissions."
