The PSOE team that is running in the municipal elections on May 28 "has completed its tour of all the payments of San Bartolomé under the slogan 'We want to listen to you'." The closing of this itinerary consisted of "a neighborhood meeting that took place in the Montaña Blanca Civic Center", last Monday, April 17, at 8:30 p.m.

Previously, the party "held neighborhood meetings in El Islote, Güime, Playa Honda and San Bartolomé town", they report. In this sense, the current mayor and candidate to repeat, Isidro Pérez, has stated: "listening is the raison d'être of democracy, since it makes citizens the protagonist and stimulates their participation to solve collective problems."

"Active listening is a hallmark of the PSOE of San Bartolomé in recent times, which began with Marcial Martín, continued with Loli Corujo, continued with our remembered Alexis Tejera and that we have present every day the entire team that I lead"," says Pérez. "Listening to neighbors, the party has brought stability and good government to the municipality, which has become the model to follow in the municipal policy of Lanzarote," says the candidate.

"Continue working for a fairer, more egalitarian municipality with a higher quality of life”

The PSOE team aspires to "revalidate the absolute majority in the San Bartolomé City Council in the next municipal elections," they add. "To do this, we have listened to the proposals, ideas and suggestions of our citizens to incorporate them into our government program and continue working for a fairer, more egalitarian municipality with a higher quality of life," concludes the candidate.
