The Popular Party of Lanzarote announces the automatic discharge of Jonas Álvarez as a member of the party upon learning that he appears as president of a new party, Primero Teguise, recently validated by the Ministry of the Interior.
The "seriousness of the facts" constitute, according to the Statutes of the Popular Party, "cause for immediate dismissal and the loss of his status as a member."
Consequently, the Popular Party requests Álvarez to hand over his councilor's act in the Teguise City Council, a condition he achieved under the acronym and project of the Popular Party in the 2019 municipal elections.
