The family of Cristina Calero, who passed away this past Tuesday, October 27, at the age of 36, has sent a note of thanks to all those who have accompanied them in this sad loss.
"Given the painful and early departure of our dear Cristina Calero García, her family wishes to express their deepest and most sincere gratitude to all the institutions, colleagues from the Parliament and Government of the Canary Islands, from the Arrecife City Council, Tinajo, Tías, Haría, Teguise, Yaiza, San Bartolomé, from Coalición Canaria, as well as to the different political formations, social groups, media outlets, the educational community, friends, neighbors of Lanzarote, La Graciosa, and the Canary Islands.
The immense affection received, the respect for her memory as a deputy and public servant, and the memory of her eternal smile serve as comfort in the face of an unfillable void.
Thank you with all our hearts for accompanying us in her farewell and for keeping alive her legacy of commitment to her land, her people, her vocation of service, her joy, and her light. For accompanying us on this painful journey and honoring her memory.
