The Popular Party warns of the problems that some of the latest personnel appointments made by the PSOE in the Arrecife City Council could generate in the normal functioning of the corporation. "And if the changes in the intervention made last year have been the perfect excuse used by the mayoress to cover up her terrible management of municipal affairs, the change in the Intervention that took place last week could generate a real problem for the corporation," they say from the formation.

The popular ones maintain that "the new Royal Decree 128/2018, of March 16, which regulates the legal regime of the officials of the Local Administration (Published in the BOE of March 17) stipulates that the positions of Auditor, Secretary and Treasurer must be occupied by career officials of category A1".

According to the municipal spokesperson of the Popular Party, Dácil Garcias, in the case of Arrecife, "these requirements are not met by two of the three key positions in the corporation, such as the secretary, who is A2, and the last auditor appointed provisionally by the Mayoress Eva de Anta who has the consideration of interim ".

Garcias points out that "as of today these two appointments do not conform to the law, so the Popular Party urges Eva de Anta to immediately redirect the irregular situation that she has generated with her decisions and thus avoid the definitive collapse of the City Council".

"The current situation is truly unsustainable and the new designations could aggravate the situation to really critical extremes". "Arrecife cannot afford a single more nonsense", reproaches the PP councilor who highlights the breaches of the socialists such as the delay in the payment of sports subsidies, social aid, the purchase of school supplies or the rent of housing, among others. "Entering into dynamics of personnel changes without complying with the law is the height of absurdity", adds Dácil Garcías
