The Official Language School of Arrecife confirms that it maintains its face-to-face educational offer for the 2025-2026 academic year in Playa Blanca, at the English levels A2.1 and A2.2, with extraordinary registration starting on Tuesday, July 15, and interested persons can access all the information on the web or at the contact number 928 805 806, in the morning. This was announced by the mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, after the meeting held this Thursday with Ignacio Vilalta, director of the School.

In 2023, the City Council requested Education to implement an attached classroom in the CEO Playa Blanca, taking into account the characteristics of the labor market based on tourism and the service sector and the multicultural population of the municipality, thus, the EOI will begin its third course in Playa Blanca on September 22.

The forecast is that there will be two groups, one for each level of English, with a maximum of 30 students and a minimum of 15 students. These are regulated studies on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and from 5:55 p.m. to 8:05 p.m., for A2.1 and A2.2, respectively. The A2.1 level does not require prior qualifications and the A2.2 requires having passed the first.

Óscar Noda, who encourages the population of Yaiza to take advantage of this study offer, reports that for the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the proposal to incorporate a Spanish course for foreigners is planned, without ruling out more advanced English courses. “I publicly thank the Language School for their exquisite treatment, that of its director and that of the Ministry of Education, who before and now have listened to our demands to offer English courses in Playa Blanca,” concludes the mayor.
