The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, received this Monday the visit of the colonel chief of the Lanzarote Military Airfield and military air commander of the Lanzarote Airport, José Vicente Teruel Sánchez. Together with the latter, was also his successor, Colonel Rafael de Haro Ros, who will succeed him in office from this Wednesday, July 13.
In the meeting, Isidro Pérez thanked Colonel Teruel for the work done in these two years at the head of the Aerodrome and "wished him success in the new tasks he assumes in his new stage", according to the San Bartolomé City Council in a note.
The colonel, for his part, thanked him for the collaboration provided to the Aerodrome at all times by the San Bartolomé City Council. He also guaranteed the continuity of the same line of work maintained in these years. After welcoming Colonel De Haro Ros, the mayor conveyed the affection of the Corporation and expressed the gratitude of the municipality of San Bartolomé "for the commendable work that the Armed Forces carry out in the service of society." The Head of the Local Police, Demetrio González Tabares, was also present at the meeting.
