The Prosecutor's Office has requested to review the computer of the first investigating judge in the "Unión" case, César Romero Pamparacuatro. Specifically, it has requested the dumping of the computer files from the hard drive of the computer that this magistrate used to write the judicial resolutions of this case, given the "intolerable suspicions of adulteration" of documents in some of the proceedings, according to the newspaper La Provincia this Friday.
Prosecutor Javier Ródenas has requested this review to be able to accredit the authenticity and integrity of the documents in one of the parts of this alleged large corruption scheme. According to La Provincia, the Prosecutor's Office proposes to the current head of the Court of Instruction number 5 of Arrecife, Silvia Muñoz, that if the creation dates of the documents stored on the hard drive are later than those in the judicial resolutions, testimony should be deduced "immediately" to the prosecutors of Lanzarote to investigate the possible document forgery that may have been committed.
Recently, Judge César Romero Pamparacuatro reported to the Courts of Arrecife and the Prosecutor's Office the disappearance of at least 21 original orders of the case. He even traveled to Arrecife to resolve the absence of signatures on documents and, after that, decided to send a report to reflect the documents he signed and those he did not sign, and also filed a complaint for "the disappearance, subtraction or extraction" of the original orders.
