The far-right political formations have consolidated in the European Parliament, where the parties that question the existence of the Eurochamber are even growing. However, the pro-European parties, made up of popular, social democratic, liberal and green parties, maintain the majority that has allowed them to govern for the last five years.

Meanwhile, in Spain the far-right party Vox has positioned itself as the third most voted political force (9.6% of the votes), above the Ahora República formation, made up of Esquerra or EH Bildu, among others, and the national government partner Sumar. A new leg has also grown for the Spanish far right, the Se Acabó la Fiesta formation, led by the agitator Alvise Pérez.

In the case of Lanzarote, Vox became the third most voted political force on the island after the European elections. The far-right formation captured just over one in ten ballots that were deposited in the ballot boxes during the election day. Above nationalist formations such as Coalición Canaria.

By municipalities, Haría was the municipality on the island with the highest participation, where 39.32% of the citizens registered in the electoral census went to vote. In the northern municipality, the PSOE was the most voted political force (33.4%), followed by the Partido Popular (23.4%). In third position was the Coalition for a Solidary Europe (CEUS), the formation that includes Coalición Canaria (13%) and Vox rose as the fourth political force (11.2%).  The parties to the left of the PSOE, Sumar (6.8%) and Podemos (3.5%), were placed as the fifth and sixth political force.

The second municipality with the highest political participation was San Bartolomé, with 38.22%. In San Bartolomé, the PSOE was also the most voted political force (35.1%), followed by the PP (27.4%) and Vox (9.7%). At this point, CEUS obtained the fourth position (8.2%); followed by the far-right formation Se Acabó la Fiesta (5.8%). In sixth and seventh position are the two parties to the left of the PSOE, Sumar (5.1%) and Podemos (3.8%).

In the case of Teguise, with a participation of 37.68%, the most voted political formation was the PSOE (31.2%), followed by the PP (28.7%) and CEUS (10.8%). In fourth and fifth position, the far-right formations Vox (10.1%) and Se Acabó la Fiesta (6.4%) were placed. Meanwhile, Sumar (4.7%) and Podemos (3.5%) remained in sixth and seventh position.

In the municipality of Tías, with 34.62% participation, the PP was the formation with the most votes (36.2%), followed by the PSOE (31.2%), and in third position Vox (11.2%). The fourth and fifth most voted formations were the far-right Se Acabó la Fiesta (5.8%) and CEUS (5.3%). Meanwhile, in sixth and seventh position are Podemos (3.8%) and Sumar (2.8%).

The case of Tinajo, disputed count and Junts as sixth force

In fourth position of participation is Tinajo, with 35.98%, where initially the Partido Popular has been placed as the first force (25.8%) and the PSOE as the second (25.3%). However, the PSOE has challenged the vote alleging that there is a polling station that has not been counted and that would give the first position to the socialists. In Tinajo it is the only municipality on the island where CEUS, the confluence of parties that includes Coalición Canaria, exceeds the 20% barrier (23.1%). As the fourth and fifth political force are the far-right formations Vox (8.6%) and Se acabó la Fiesta (5%). In the case of Tinajo, the sixth most voted political formation is Junts, the Catalan confluence led by Toni Comín, which was voted by 56 people. Meanwhile, Podemos (2.6%) and Sumar (2.4%) occupy the seventh and eighth position.

Yaiza and Arrecife, the municipalities with the least participation

In the capital of Lanzarote only three out of ten people (30.68%) with the right to vote voted. In this case, the most voted political formation by far is the PSOE (36.9%), followed by the populares (26.1%) and with Vox in third place (11.9%). At this point, CEUS is placed as the fourth political party (9.4%). Meanwhile, the far right led by Alvise Pérez reached the fifth position (4.7%) and the left-wing parties Sumar (4.5%) and Podemos (3.3%) remain in sixth and seventh place.
