The Department of Seniors of the Arrecife City Council, directed by Rosmen Quevedo, is organizing a cultural outing next Friday, January 31 to the International Museum of Contemporary Art Castillo de San José.
In this activity, framed within the Dynamization Program of Senior Centers, aimed at active aging, all the people who attend daily the various workshops taught by the company awarded the program, AFA Lanzarote, will participate.
The initiative seeks to promote social participation, access to culture and the enjoyment of artistic heritage by the elderly, "in line with the commitment of the Arrecife City Council to the well-being and quality of life of this group".
The councilor responsible for the Area, Rosmen Quevedo Cabrera, highlights the importance of this type of action within the policies of active aging and assures that "we will continue to promote activities that contribute to the physical, mental and social well-being of the elderly, facilitating their access to enriching experiences of cultural interest".
Thus, the mayor insists that "the Area he directs will continue to support all those programs that reinforce the social inclusion of the elderly".
