The Cabildo of Lanzarote has put out to tender, for a total of 4,331,775 euros, the contracting of various services and equipment "for the realization of events by the Island Corporation." The duration of the contract will be two years, plus two extensions of one year each", and the awarded company per lot "must make a statement indicating the machinery, material and technical equipment that will be available for the execution of the service."
The contest includes a total of six lots, which include lighting and sound, for 289,500 euros, audiovisual equipment with a budget of 75,000 euros, infrastructures amounting to 333,750 euros and event production for 246,500 euros. In addition, there are two other lots that are specifically allocated to the Víctor Fernández Gopar Theater 'El Salinero', with a budget of 160,500 euros and the Cultural Innovation Center 'El Almacén' for 53,500 euros.
The Cabildo informs that the deadline for submitting bids "ends on October 26, at 08:00 hours" and the same company "may submit to one or more lots."
The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, explains that among the objectives is to "guarantee that the cultural, sports, leisure and protocol activities of a public nature that are organized are safe and with an effective execution."
