The Cabildo of Lanzarote has put out to tender the works of "Reform of the Electrical Installations in BT for the Office Buildings of the Experimental Agricultural Farm of Lanzarote", with the aim of providing the infrastructures with a "safer, more innovative and efficient" lighting.
Specifically, the island institution will allocate a sum of 84,110 euros to undertake these works, which will have an execution period of two months after the formalization of the contract.
The Minister of Public Works, Alfredo Mendoza, explained the importance of renovating this lighting system, replacing the old one and improving the facilities of the Farm's offices.
He also detailed that they also intend to improve the energy efficiency of the site, provide it with adequate lighting for the activities carried out in the offices and provide the infrastructures with emergency lighting. In the event of a failure of the normal lighting, the latter would provide the necessary lighting to facilitate visibility for users so that they can leave the building.
In the same vein, the Minister of the Primary Sector, Andrés Stinga, pointed out that this is "great news for the Experimental Agricultural Farm, an essential space for the development and support of this fundamental sector for the island of Lanzarote".
The documentation relating to this contest can be consulted through the tender portal of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the offers can be formalized through the State contracting platform.
