The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Tourism, will hold an important tourism meeting on the island next Tuesday, September 14, where the main economic, business and institutional agents linked to the management of the sector in Lanzarote will meet. The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, will be in charge of opening the event, together with the Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands, Yolanda Perdomo.

Among the interventions that will take place during the meeting, the Cabildo of Lanzarote will have the keynote speech by Pablo Caspers, deputy director of Airberlin in Spain and Portugal.

The Minister of Tourism, Luis Arráez, and the CEO of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor Fernández Manchado, will jointly present the actions and results achieved in past seasons, in addition to presenting the new promotional initiatives and the new corporate video of the SPEL.

The Asolan employers' association will present the case of several hotels as an example of thematic establishments and the Teguise City Council will present several videos of the tourist center of Costa Teguise. The meeting will also be completed with the presentation of the product "Lanzarote, European Sport Destination" and the "Enogastronomic".

Debate

After the presentations, an interesting and open debate will be held among all the participants. Access will be free and open to all citizens, professionals in the tourism sector or people in general interested in our main economic engine.

The meeting will take place next Tuesday, September 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
