A total of six boats have been located during the night this Saturday with a total of 218 irregular immigrants heading to the Canary Islands, as reported by the 112 Emergency Coordination Center. Two have arrived in Lanzarote

Around 3:00 a.m., the Red Cross warned that they had spotted a boat with 28 Moroccans on board, including seven minors, who were transferred to the Port of Los Mármoles, in Lanzarote.

The immigrants, all men and of Moroccan origin, arrived on land around twenty to four in the morning, after a Civil Guard patrol boat rescued them. On land they were attended by the Immediate Response Team in Emergencies (ERIE) of the Red Cross, although, according to the humanitarian organization, they were all in good general condition and only needed health care that did not require transfer to any health center.

The second boat that reached the coasts of Lanzarote this September 30 carried a similar number of immigrants as the previous one. In this case, 29 men were counted, all of them Moroccans, and among whom there could be up to three minors, according to initial data.

The time of arrival on land of this second boat was at 10 in the morning, after the Civil Guard's surveillance systems detected it by radar.

According to the health assessment that the ERIE of the Red Cross was able to make, the immigrants were in perfect condition, to the point that only the delivery of two clothing kits was necessary. The delivery of basic necessities was necessary, as in the previous case, it was already done in police facilities by the volunteers of the humanitarian organization.
